BENEFITS OF THE ELECTRONIC ARCHIVING SERVICES PROVIDED BY TRANSFOND
TRANSFOND’s electronic archiving system is fully compliant with the requirements of Law 135/ 2007 – “Law on archiving documents in electronic format”, which reduces the burden of archive generators, and thus outsourcing becomes possible for this business line;
TRANSFOND is accredited in accordance with Law 135/2007 as administrator of electronic archives and authorized as data center for hosting electronic archives;
The electronically-archived documents (within the meaning of Law 135/2007) are legally binding (the use of e-Arhiv@ means no charges with the internal storage of electronic documents that have no legal power in court);
For the electronic archiving of documents, the beneficiaries of e-Arhiv@ do not have the obligation to get accreditation as administrators of electronic archives or to authorize their data centers – lengthy processes with major financial implications;
If the beneficiaries are participants in the Electronic Payments System, for all the services provided by TRANSFOND (excluding customized services) beneficiaries need not make additional investments in infrastructure and/or equipment; purchasing the electronic archiving service does not suppose a connecting fee, i.e. it implies paying only for the contracted and provided services;
e-Arhiv@ is characterized by a high security level as regards access to documents, in line with similar achievements in the EPS management in compliance with the legal requirements and confirmed by the accreditation as archive administrator;
e-Arhiv@ also provides contingency facilities in a disaster recovery center, for operations pertaining to consulting the electronic archive;
The documents are stored in highly reliable and secured datacenters, using hierarchically-organized storage media; the service has a very friendly interface. All actions undertaken by the beneficiary’s users are automatically recorded in a log.
