On October 26-27, 2022, TRANSFOND organized the Plenary of the European Association of Automatic Clearing Houses (EACHA) in Bucharest.



On April 22, 2019, TRANSFOND organized in partnership with the Romanian Association of Banks the official launch event of the Instant Payments service.


During 9-11 October 2013, TRANSFOND organized, in Bucharest, the XVIII edition of the Clearing House in Central and Eastern Europe Conference (ICCI) and the biannual meeting of the European Automated Clearing House Association (EACHA).

For the second year in a row, TRANSFOND hosted the International Conference of Clearing Institutions in Central and Eastern Europe, currently at its 12th edition. The 2007 edition of the ICCI Conference took place during 1-2 November 2007 and had as main topic “Clearing Institutions Strategies in a More Competitive and Faster Changing Environment”. 

Key subjects like “SEPA: From Concept to Reality”, “Objectives, Status & Progress”, “The impact of the UNIDROIT Convention on substantive rules regarding intermediated securities for Automated Clearing Houses” as well as “Current trends in the payment systems industry” were of high interest to the participants to the conference.

Event Agenda

On 26 and 27 October 2006, the 11th ICCI conference brought together in Bucharest the decision-makers in Europe in the field of payment systems. TRANSFOND had the honor to bring to their attention a very important topic of great interest – European and Domestic Payment Systems on the Wind of Change. 

The conference aimed at being a discussion forum for the clearing houses in Central and Eastern Europe. Consequently, prominent figures in the field of payment and settlement systems for operations in financial instruments were invited as keynote speakers and participants. Key aspects were tackled, such as: "Progress and challenges of SEPA", "(Pan)European payment systems on the wind of change", "Domestic payment systems and the challenge of European integration", "Financial Infrastructures Additional Services". 

The ICCI conference was also an outstanding opportunity to liaise with major representatives of clearing houses, banks, corporations and regulatory authorities from across the payments spectrum.
