ISO 9001:2008 Certification
TRANSFOND was certified in 2009 with ISO 9001: 2008, granted by the certification organization Moody International Certification Ltd, UKAS accredited. The recertification was performed in June 2012.
Obtaining the certification in Quality Management System represents the joint effort of the entire institution towards rendering high quality services to the customers, as well as the recognision of the managerial competency.
The deployment and the certification in Quality Management System, were in accordance with the international standard requirements. ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Quality Management System recertification was registered in June 2012.
On the 12th of June 2011, Mr. Emil Ghizari has ended his mandate as Chief Executive Officer of TransFonD. Starting the 12th of July 2011, the position will be filled by Mr. Sabin Carantină, currently Manager of the Payments Department with the National Bank of Romania.

TRANSFOND has been certified as an Electronic Archiving provider in accordance with Law no. 135/2007 - with regard to the archiving of documents in electronic format.
